The Wildcat Band finished its competition season with a wonderful performance of the “Red Brick Road” this afternoon at the 35th Annual “Classic on the Cane”
Marching Contest at Northwestern State University. The group received a rating of Excellent (II) in Percussion and a rating of Superior (I) in Auxiliary (Kittens/Silks) and Overall Band.
Auxiliary took SECOND PLACE in Class II and the group finished in SECOND PLACE overall in Class II with a combined total score of 83.05! The band earned the second highest music score in class and the highest visual score in class. The Wildcat Band finished 10th overall among bands from across all classifications.
