AP Gov Simulation

In Mrs. Eisworth’s AP Government class, students completed a simulation to understand how a bill becomes a law. They worked in committees within the House of Representatives and Senate to create a bill for the best dinner menu possible.

After a conference committee, the bill was sent to “President” Lagroue for approval! With his signature, students successfully had a law passed! This allowed students to better understand the procedure by being apart of each step as they would do in the real government.

This hands-on activity provided clarity, visual representation, and experience of what the process can look like on a much smaller scale. Awesome work Wildcats!
