On Saturday Nov 12th the CHS Fishing Team held its annual Stock the Central Food Bank tournament out of Doiron’s Landing sponsored by Stop & Go Driving Academy. This is the only tournament, hosted by our CHS Bass Team, that is opened up to high school anglers across the state (not just CHS) to fish. Anglers participating bring non perishable or canned items as their entry fee and the fish that fall within a considerable size are kept, the only time we keep the fish, to donate to the Central Food Bank. 22 boats from Central, Brusly, Live Oak, Assumption, Morgan City, Parkview, and Lafourche competed in the tournament with 57 fish caught, totaling 94.66 pounds. Central once again took home the bragging rights for all top 3 spots, and Big Bass. Congratulations to our top winners for the day.
