Due to the 80% chance of rain in the forecast for Tuesday, the 7th grade baseball tryout is now combined with 6th grade on MONDAY!
There will be NO tryout on Tuesday. 8th grade will still try out Wednesday as scheduled.

On Monday November 11th, the CMS SkillsUSA Chapter attended the SkillsUSA Louisiana Fall Leadership Conference at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Join us in congratulating Jacob Rivers for earning the SkillsUSA Louisiana Statesman Award. Great job Jacob!

In honor of Veteran's Day on Monday, November 11, CMS will hold a $2 dress day. This day is NOT included in the pre-paid dress days, but normal free dress guidelines apply.
Money raised will go to support the Central Veteran's Memorial.

Reminder, the First Student bus tracking app is currently NOT available. We will update parents once all routes have been adjusted and the app is ready for use.
We are SO excited to welcome our students back on campus tomorrow. We are looking forward to an amazing school year.
Upon arrival to campus, students should report to their homeroom class. Each student will receive a new printed schedule from their homeroom teacher, as some schedules may have changed. Students will have a C Day (report to all 8 periods) on Thursday and Friday.

As a reminder, our CMS Awards Programs will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) for 7th grade and Thursday for 6th and 8th grades. Students were notified via JCampus message on Monday evening AND through a printed invitation today if they are receiving an award. Students being honored may wear professional dress attire, but free dress guidelines must be followed.
