This is just a reminder that our final AR deadline is quickly approaching! Don't forget that AR accounts for 6% of your student's ELA grade for the 9 weeks.
On Thursday, May 4, 2023 (beginning at 3:00), doctors from OLOL and BROC will be on Central High School’s Campus conducting Physicals for any interested Central Middle students. The cost is $10 (cash only). A shuttle will be available for students needing transportation from CMS to CHS, but any student using the shuttle should have someone at CHS to pick them up at 4:00. A signed permission slip is REQUIRED. Permission slips can be found on the Class of... Google Classroom or picked up from any CMS PE teacher.
**8th Grade students should bring a copy of their birth certificate.

Here are some dress guidelines for next Friday's Sneaker Ball!
Sneaker Ball tickets on School Cash will cut off on Wednesday, March 29.
Tickets will be sold at school in Mrs. Logsdon's office only; do not give payments to teachers.
The last day to purchase tickets in person is also Wednesday, March 29. Tickets are $10.
CMS 8th graders will take the Pre ACT test on Tuesday, March 14th.
PreACT assessments are multiple-choice and will provide students an early measure of College and Career Readiness while serving as a practice opportunity for the ACT test.
Please make sure your child:
*arrives at school on time
*eats a healthy breakfast
*gets a good night's sleep

Tomorrow is our February $2 Free Dress Day. This is a part of the pre-paid days, but students who did not pre-pay may bring money to their homeroom teacher in the morning. Remember- all normal free dress guidelines apply.
